Pho Pete's sake!

I'm sorry, but I'm going to keep calling pho "fou," not "fah." I know it's technically wrong, but "fou" sounds better to my ears, and at this point I'm too committed to change. Besides, no matter how you pronounce it, it's absolutely delicious. Especially during the winter. A hot bowl of pho can thaw out your soul, clear your sinuses, and make you forget about the freezing weather outside. Call it pho. Call it fou. Call it magical noodle soup. I'm still eating it. And that's pho sure! 😅

Rainy days

I love cloudy, rainy days. The weather is cool and perfect, everything looks nicer with the wet ground and the sun is not hitting me directly. Today was so hot, my shadow ran inside to cool off 😒 Not to mention the sound of rain is so mellow and peaceful❤️

Miracles still exist

Today in Houston traffic, I put my turn signal on and someone actually let me merge. No speeding up. No aggressive bumper defense system. No “you shall not pass” energy. For one brief shining moment, humanity healed. Birds sang, The sun broke through the clouds. I may never witness something this beautiful again in my lifetime.

R.I.P. Spirit Airlines. You’re literally a spirit now. 😭🙏 Somewhere out there, a billionaire investor is staring dramatically out of a skyscraper window whispering, ‘I can fix her.’ Honestly though, there’s probably still potential buried under the turbulence. All it takes is one major company with deep pockets, strong leadership, and the courage to resurrect this airline.  If they pull it off, they should rename it Lazarus Airlines because this thing would be rising from the dead 💀
